Young golfer earns England call
The 15-year-old, who plays off a frequently reducing handicap of 10, received a telephone call from the English Ladies' Golf Association on Monday evening informing her of the last minute opportunity which will take place with an ELGA appointed assessor in Sevenoaks on or before September 3.
Father John said: "I think she's got an hour's assessment, what the nature of that will be I don't know. It's nice that she's had the recognition."

Hide AdThe Claverham Community College student, who recently came second in the south east regional qualifier for the nationwide Weetabix Championship in her age group at Tudor Park in Maidstone, was also part of the Sussex girls' under-18 team which finished third in the South East Inter-Counties' Championship at Highwoods last week.
Having barely set foot off an aeroplane, or more accurately light aircraft, from a week long recreational holiday in France with her school, a jaded Charlotte was unable to win any of her four singles' matches, although two of them did go down to the final hole. Charlotte is sponsored by 1066 Sporting Club.
