LETTER: Plan is surely misguided
The government's wish to develop the fringes of the Ashdown Forest at the rate of what I understand to be 1,026 houses per year is surely misguided.
It would totally change the character and disfigure the approaches to this rural area, and its acceptance would represent a damaging precedent for the countryside generally.
It is exactly what one would not expect of a Conservative government and the plan should be rejected in favour of far greater use of brownfield sites.
I therefore fully support the campaign to Keep Mid-Sussex Green.
